| my brother turned sixteen friday and i went and hung out with the family plus collin's girlfriend for a bit. it was really fun. we watched old home movies and it was so funny. little collin and maddie are so cute.
church was really good this morning. brandy and i had this long conversation last night and then church was like... exactly what we had talked about, so it was pretty sweet. and then tonight we did this thing where everybody just sang out to god with no instruments or structure or anything, just voices. it was seriously one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard.
all the guys at my house talked tonight about redoing pretty much the whole house... reorganizing, painting, etc. it will be sweet when it actually gets done. i'm excited.
i cooked for brandy earlier and i really thought it was going to be good but it ended up being really salty and pretty much not as good as i'd hoped. disappointment.
whatever.
i want to get married. soon. i'm hoping god will help that happen because... i definitely can't afford it. | | |
| well brandy and i just got back from columbus for my grandpa's
funeral. it was nice as far as those things go. everything
went as smoothly as could ever be anticipated.
i had gone down at the end of last week to see him because the nursing
home told us he wasn't doing too well, so i actually got to be with him
and hold his hand as he died. it was really hard to watch but it was
good because i'd rather say goodbye to him that way than after he's
already gone. so that was nice i guess.
i'm really really tired too because i've gotten up very early the past
two mornings without much sleep. and i have to open the store
tomorrow.... ppttth. it'll be good though, getting back into normal
life without the trips to columbus and all.
oh yeah, haha. it was brandy's first time meeting the whole family,
which is a lot of people. my mom has four brothers, and three of them
are married with kids. then there's all the farther extendeds. anyway,
that was a good time trying to make sure i remembered everybody's name
as i introduced them to the girl.
chris is in el salvador. that's craziness. pray for him and the whole
group from my church and all the people down there if you can take a
few minutes.

| so that recording thing i mentioned a while back... yeah it never happened. i have been working on music though, mostly on my days off. i'm hoping to record sometime this week. i just want to get at least guitar and vocals down for this one song so i can work on a drum part.
brandy bought me the itrip i wanted!!! just cause she got her tax return. who has the best girlfriend ever? if you're thinking austin, you are correct.
last night i was in the shower and i took out my plugs and my septum ring and put them on the little shower shelf thing, and a couple minutes later i felt something under my feet. i looked down and all three were gone... right down the drain.... hahaha i was kinda upset about that. but i went to brandy's tonight and made some new plugs and things for my nose and they turned out pretty sweet. | | |

yay! i have the next two days off! i'm probably going to record stuff... i hope... if i get up ever. no. no. i am going to record stuff. ringing affirmative.
yes well.
i had my first review since i became management today. it was interesting. it's cooler than getting a review as a sales associate because i actually care a lot more now, so i really learned what i'm doing well and what i need to work on. it was pretty cool actually.
we got a new guy at work. he's going to be the new full time assistant manager, which makes him sorta my boss, and he's never worked at hot topic before so i'm helping to teach him things. so basically i'm helping to train my boss. it's weird. haha.
i just watched the long kiss goodnight. it was so bad that it was amazing. dave watched most of it. he absolutely hated it, haha.
so, question:
i have the opportunity to write a screenplay and i really want to do it. but i really feel i need to focus more on music and that should be my first priority, after god and brandy of course, so... third priority. i'm just having trouble actually sitting down and doing it. between that and church and the girl and volunteering at the cafe twice a week, i just don't know if i should commit to writing a screenplay. that's a pretty big commitment. it would really help dave out though.... what do you think?
